Great spring and duck rolls!! Lovely cultural atmosphere right by Great Portland underground station. Air conditioning was superb and staff was kind. Overall delicious and left satisfied.
Love this place, in fact, it's the best Chinese Restaurant my partner & I have found in London! Great food, well prepared, truly authentic, not too pricey, give or take; the service, admittedly, is a bit slow, however, even with very few customers (hence losing a star here from 5 to 4); ambience and atmosphere has always been very pleasing & comfortable too, we've found - rarely overcrowded, as one finds in busier / more touristy locations, can relax & take one's time, really enjoying what you're eating with a chat etc. Definitely worth stopping by if you're this way inclined & in the area.
Why is it when you find a good value Chinese restaurant serving great food that it is always let down by the service and ambience? Oriental Dragon specialises in Sichuan cuisine. The dumplings tasted homemade and the deep fried squid with cumin was amazing. Whilst munching away on these superb dishes, we tried to black out the fact they had made us dine in the depressing basement (strange damp odour and not easy to cart the pram down to).
